We arrived in Vilnius after a weird night in Bremen. With almost no sleep we took our seats in the plane to the geographical middle of Europe, Vilnius. But before we could fly to Lithuania, we had to find a place to expel some hours until the departure time of our flight. I know Bremen somehow and so I have kown at least the right district to search in. The night was not very spectacular. Everything reminded me of self-made parties of 17 year olds. Shabby club, shit music, shit atmosphere. However, what I will remember is the threshing DJ of this club named ‘Lila Eule’. He was so proud of his work but it is all reverie. One of the worst nights in respect of music. Never mind, as Mithra and I arrived at the airport of Vilnius we directly recognized we should have informed us about some things. Map, vocabulary, plans etc. become necessary every meter east from Germany.

Our slowness at the airport got us into some trouble. Nobody of the other passengers could be seen. Now it was on us to find the way into the city. Neither I was sure how far away it is nor how to get there with the help of directions like a name of a church or main place. We took a old caravan taxi and drove along some old Soviet houses. I still can recall how the russian infrastructure looks like and we definetely were surropunded by it. We searched for a bus which actually are trams and found one to head direction city center. We organized a map but couldn’t find a clue there the hell we were. I just knew: never pass the river. And there it was. Panic striken I shouted something to the driver and without any knowledge of English he could understand why I want to leave, we passed the center already. as we jumped off the bus, there was no trace of the beauty, which Vilnius outgh have. Some days ago I convinced Mithra to fly to Vilnius with a decribtion about its gorgeous face. Mithras face became morbid. Surrounded by ruin houses and bare trees we wandered back. The signs "Old Town" lead the way.

‘Old town’ is great. Every path you take you’ll see at least 3 churches. We joined a Russian orthodox ceremony. It will be best described by this word: Weird. You would say the same by seing a child kissing a glass lid which covers 3 dead bodies. We entered some old churches, mainly with unrestored conditions. This one was a beautiful example. I walked in and watched the ceremony, People come into the church and cross themselves. The sign of cross is used a second and third time by passing an old rug and an old book. The most intense pause follows at a glass vitrine. I wondered what is in there. Some kissed the showcase three times and even lifted theit little chiuldren up to the top to do the same procedure. After a while I recognized no people in front of the vitrine and had a look. Six fleshless legs.

Lithuania food is great. As always on vacation I’d a lot of it.

In the night we met Andrius our host. HE was so kind to let us sleep in his flat. We did not sleep very much at all. What a catching smile/ laugh. He guided us through the next day and showed us some places we would never have seen alone. As the night started we could participate in Lithuanian feasting. I loved to drink whiskey with hiWe drunk Sambuca like I never did. In my mouth started a firework. I’m not kidding, take a look at the attached videos. In spite of the cheap alcohol prices I hadf o money and jumped through in search for a ATM. I found one but a thief saw we walking at this late our. My appearance with a leather bag, leather shoes, coat etc. is maybe not the best choice. He tried to steel my bag but I could punch him and run away, back through the window. We continued laughing and drinkiung until late hour.

We went nuts that night, really!
